INSTALLATION 2008-09 |

The installation ceremony was held at Hotel Saj
Earth on 27th December 2008. Dr Samuel K Ninan,
President elect IDA Kerala state was the chief
guest and Dr Antony Thomas, Hon:Secretary IDA
Kerala state was the guest of honour. Dr Vinu
P.R was installed as the president and Dr
(Major) Jude John as the Hon: Secretary. 7 new
members were installed on the same day, thus
making our branch strength to 102. Christmas,
New year celebrations was also held on the same
day. |

hands on programme and was very well attended. |

6 March 2009 DENTIST
DAY CELEBRATIONS |

Dentist day celebrations held at CSA auditorium
Angamally got off to a great start with lighting
the lamp by Smt Thandu Varghese, Municipal
Chairperson, Angamally. The celebrity guest was
cinie artist Miss Meera Nandan. Awarness talk
was given to the public by Dr Santhosh Thomas,
more than 500 people attended the programme.
Screening camp was also held & oral health packs
& pamphlets were also distributed.
A clarification regarding various misconcepts in
the dental treatments was released in the
leading newspapers and also pamphlets regarding
this was distributed through the clinics.
General body meeting was held at Hotel Mahanami
Aluva on the same day. Speaker was Dr Saju
Simon. He talked on the topic, Surgical
solutions to some common dental problems |

A combined family
get together and picnic by IDA Nedumbassery and
IDA Malanad was held at Silver Storm Water theme
park, Athirampilly. It was also attended by the
state president, Dr.KN Pratap Kumar, Hon.state
Sec Dr.Antony Thomas and President Elect
Dr.Samuel K Ninan. |

dental clinics. |

Summer camp 18th
May to 21st May |

The ladies wing of
IDA Nedumbassery (Queensland) along with MASTHI
conducted 4 day camp for the children. It was
attended by around 35 kids.
